As a lady, to mount a stage confidently in front of a sea of crowd like the Global Citizens Festival, maintaining stamina, breath control, not breaking a sweat delivering that mellifluous high key comes with going the extra to stay fit and being healthy.
Their ability to change the narrative by harnessing the power and weakness that comes with being a woman is applaudable. Gyakie, Tems, Tiwa Savage and Sza on the night, were not intimidated by their gender nor the conditions that comes with being a woman; they stood their grounds and delivered!
UVIX celebrates these astounding female artistes for their massive input at the just ended GLOBAL CITIZENS FESTIVAL which was held on Saturday 24th of September, 2022, at the Independence square in ACCRA. Their presence on stage encounraged other ladies at the event and around the world to take action and to take charge as global citizens who know their rights, power and are willing to ask for accountability or take an action that brings change for the everyday girl.
